LG goes social with two new handsets
The South Korean phone giant has just pulled the cover off another two phones centred around social networking, the LG GW520 and LG GT505. The phones are the first from LG to offer push social networking updates, and will also support push email for personal accounts and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync for business accounts. Looking at them separately, the GW520 is quite obviously the one for email and text fanatics due to its full slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Despite this, it also boasts a 2.8-inch full touchscreen, and packs 3G HSDPA 7.2 and a 3-megapixel camera. On the other hand, if you're one for road trips, the GT505 comes preloaded with a 30 day free trial of the turn-by-turn navigation software WisePilot for LG. Like a sat nav on your phone, you'll get voice instructions and a choice of 2D and 3D mapping to get you where you need to be. Aside from that, the phone packs a full 3-inch touchscreen and 5 megapixel camera, as well as Wi-fi, 3G and HSDPA 3.6 connectivities
