Chennai,Jul 18 (PTI) The Election Commission today said 15 MPs would be casting their vote during tomorrow's Presidential polls in Chennai besides MLAs. "In addition to the (234) MLAs, 10 members of Lok Sabha and five members of Rajya Sabha would also cast votes in Chennai," a release from the office of Chief electoral officer Praveen Kumar said. The observer for the polls will be Sujit Gulati, IAS, it added. Asking the voting members to stick to stipulated guidelines, the release said any violation will render the ballot paper invalid. "The vote should be marked on the ballot paper inside the voting compartment and its secrecy maintained. Any violation of secrecy may render the ballot paper invalid," it said, adding, videography of 'all critical events' including the polling process would be done by the Assistant Returning Officer. "No Cellular phone or cordless phone or wireless set would be allowed to be carried inside the polling station," it said. According to EC, polling will be held at the Committee Room, Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Secretariat here.
